Being older, I tend to listen to music that played as I was a teen and growing up in the 50’s and beyond. Later as a young adult I payed attention to dance songs.
“Current” lyrics often upset me becausse they are brutal towards woman and police. Obviously I can and do choose what I listen to, but fear for younger people who are bombarded with trashy lyrics. Fortunately, there are a lot of remakes of Phantom of The Opera and Les Miserables and such that introduce what i enjoy, and would like to introduce children to.
