One key idea from the video above is to precisely & intentionally discuss and view adversity, particularly one’s own adversity, to prevent it from leading to additional hurt, victimhood, and disempowerment. Right now, the media and people are severely lacking in this department. And the major issue is that the media does not really care about the damaging effects of particular negative communication – they just want views, and money (to generalize). Due to this, if someone has not adopted an open-minded & intelligent eye, it is very easy to get wrapped up in media narratives and persuasion, and feel disempowered as a result. Many people unfortunately just go along with it because they are not even aware of what is happening. It’s a tragedy. People have to develop the mindset of “it is what it is” in regards to particular adversity – and not dwell in the negativity because they are told to do so, and feel hurt, scared, and on and on. THAT MUST BE FOUGHT AGAINST because it does you no good. So, next time you are tempted to fall into victimhood – ask yourself, how does that help the situation? And then ask what helps the situation? What helps the situation is often digging deep, figuring out the truth, understanding how to overcome a particular thing, formulating solutions, and maintaining a VICTOR mindset through it all. I hope all of us hone our victor mentalities as the decades go along. Lord help us.
